So what's the message I keep talking about?

You've probably heard it before . . .
You might have ignored it . . .
Or even disbelieved it . . .

But the message is simple . . .

God really loves you.

God loves you more than anyone else could ever love you.  He loves you even if you can't see how to possibly love yourself; even if you don't think you've ever been loved.  Even if you don't think you ever could be loved.

See, it's the kind of love spoken of in the Bible when it says "God so loved the world that he gave his only son, so that whoever believed in him would not perish, but, instead, have eternal life."  (John 3:16)  That's unconditional love.  You can't fight it, destroy it, test it . . . it's a love that endures.  No one else can offer that kind of love.

That's why I'm so concerned about this message.  I could write about relationships, clubs, dancing, whatever, but if I forget the reason why I started writing music in the first place, I've lost the point.  There are millions of songs out there about girls and lost loves - and not one of those songs matters in the grand scheme of things!  What matters is relaying a message of hope, love, grace, and new life.  What matters is passing on a message of eternal truth.  More than words on a page or notes to be sung, it's about a message.

Take that to heart.

God doesn't need your fancy words or memorized prayers.  He just wants you.  He just wants you to accept the love that he's already offered to you.

I'd be happy to talk with you about this if you have any questions.  And, if there's something I can't answer, and I'm sure there's a lot I can't answer - lol, I'll at least try to direct you to someone who can.

Thanks for reading this.  Hope to talk with you soon.

Sincerely,

Marc Gray
